A Father is a Father

A Father is a Father

To a son, a father is absolutely necessary. Throughout thousands of generations, the image a father showed his son was that of strength, protecting and being a shield for the family. The inferiority complex and low self-esteem of being a father often stem from rejection and lack of recognition from parents during childhood. Parents who are stingy in accepting and embracing their children as they are hinder their children from forming a healthy self-identity.

On a Father’s Back

The history of his life is etched on a father’s back. Especially, the fathers of this land who experienced the Korean War carry the painful memories of those dire times when they had to live with hunger. The inferiority complex hidden behind that toughness might have made them stricter with their children. Now, it’s okay to open your heart and show it as it is. No matter what anyone says, a father is a father.
