pitiful fool

To avoid becoming a “pitiful fool,” I didn’t have the ability to analyze my mind deeply. But honestly, such analysis wasn’t necessary. What mattered was that I understood myself, recognized what needed fixing, and simply had the desire to make those changes. To do that, I had to confront an uncomfortable truth: I had unintentionally turned into someone I never wanted to be. Not just a “pitiful fool,” but a person devoid of an inner life.

The first step is to realize who you truly are. To achieve this, you must take a step back from the person you currently think you are and observe yourself from a distance. Who is this “me” I believe I am? And who is the “I” observing that “me”? This understanding is crucial. Only then can you strengthen your “inner life” and break free from being a “pitiful fool.”
