Every adult is a small world that a child encounters. When an adult, two to three times the size of the child, kneels down to meet their eye level, greets them respectfully, and embraces them with large hands and a wide heart, it shapes the child’s world. The way an adult treats a child is akin to the world they meet. Growing up as an adult, I realize how precious my childhood self was.
The first adults a child meets are naturally their parents. As they grow up, they meet many more adults. The treatment they receive from these adults shapes their life. Every question, look, and gesture towards a child requires careful consideration, filled with deep love and respect.
