“Mealtime” Philosophy of Happiness
I believe life is similar to a meal. The purpose of eating is not merely to finish, but to enjoy the time spent eating. Sadly, many people find meaning only in achieving their dreams, not in the journey. While the satisfaction of eating delicious food is important, enjoying the time until the meal is finished is even more crucial, and this principle should be applied to one’s life as well.
Mealtime varies for everyone. For some, it is the most enjoyable time; for others, it’s just a time to fill their stomachs. Happiness lies in the process, not the outcome. Everything has its charm when it is yet to be achieved. The courting process, preparing for a trip, striving for a dream—these are the times when we feel most alive.
