The Survival Competition Among Youth
Everyone believes that their generation faced a unique survival competition and that they survived it. It’s human nature to feel that the burdens they bear are the heaviest. The current young generation is no different. In a stagnant Korean society, they have faced harsh competition for jobs and survival, leading to a sense of reward regardless of whether they win or lose.
In life, survival competition is unavoidable. We believe that only by outpacing others can we win and survive. Such harsh, endless competition shakes the very core of human nature and makes the world a harsher place. Forcing young people into such a world is a misfortune for everyone. We need a world where everyone prospers together, where someone’s success leads to mutual prosperity.*
