Writing That Lives

When I decided to write, people around me joked about needing a quiet place. I agreed and searched for a writing space. Ironically, however, the writing I did in study cafes, which met all the ideal conditions, lacked the power to persuade anyone. I realized that writing comes from life, not from study.

Where and when do we write? It would be nice to write in quiet and comfortable places. However, life is rarely quiet or comfortable. War correspondents write in noisy battlefields. The field of life itself is the writing space. Writing that lives comes from the field of life. Life is writing.
