“Cheora!~” Grandma’s Call

“Cheora!~” Grandma’s Call

Somewhere, it feels like Grandma is calling my name. “Cheora!~ Cheora!” In my childhood, there were no birthdays. I have no memory of receiving birthday cakes or presents. Why was that? Raised by my grandparents, I didn’t even know I didn’t have a mother or father when I was very young.

A child who didn’t know the existence of parents. Thinking about the hardships faced growing up as an orphan, it makes my heart ache. No memory of birthday cakes or presents, only the voice of Grandma calling “Cheora!~” Someone needs to take on the role of a ‘social father’ or ‘social mother’ for such a child.
