Sleep helps us organize our memories, let go of unnecessary thoughts, allow growth hormones to function smoothly, and boost our immunity. Only a small percentage of people are short sleepers (those who can function well with minimal sleep), and most of us need 6 to 8 hours of sleep to stay healthy and maintain good condition. I’ve learned over 35 years that I need sufficient sleep. My body tells me that 6 to 8 hours of sleep is necessary for me.

Each person has their own sleep needs, and most of us are aware of what they are. However, we often fail to meet those needs. When we lack sleep, our bodies feel heavy, our minds become impatient, and our thoughts are unclear. Using medication to forcefully adjust sleep patterns may help temporarily, but it will gradually weaken our immunity and disrupt homeostasis. Finding your perfect sleep method is essential for living a healthy life.
