Years ago, when I was struggling with insomnia, I found myself wandering the streets night after night, unable to sleep. If I had tried to overcome insomnia by just lying in bed, it would have taken a long time. Instead, I would go out for a long walk the moment I couldn’t sleep, returning exhausted just as dawn was breaking. This routine helped me conquer insomnia.

Not being able to sleep means you still have energy left to burn, whether it’s mental or physical. The reason you can’t sleep is because you haven’t reached the point of complete exhaustion. Let go of the pressure that you “must sleep tonight” and use up your energy both mentally and physically. If you can’t sleep, read a book all night. Do breathing meditation all night. Sleep will come naturally.
