Unending Learning and Challenge
For the past few years, I have been repeating the mantra: “A life not questioned is a life already dead.” During this time, I began pilot training, which turned out to be a monumental learning experience. It reaffirmed that humans grow through challenges and feel alive only through continuous learning. This new beginning is likely to lead to even greater learning experiences in the remaining years of my life.
As we age, gain certain positions, and accumulate experiences, people tend to stop learning new things and lose curiosity, leading to the disappearance of questions. This is when we start to decline, cease growing, and eventually begin to wither. Without questions, especially without questioning ourselves, we stagnate and regress. Continuous learning and challenge by asking ourselves questions and seeking answers must be an ongoing part of our lives.
