Adapting to Changing Times
There have always been people called drifters, vagrants, or transients.
However, as we enter the third millennium, they have abandoned traditional houses and apartments for what is called “real estate on wheels.” They live in vans, school buses, camper trucks, travel trailers, and old sedans.
They are fleeing from the choices and the lack of choices they faced as part of the middle class.
Life patterns are changing. New, entirely different lifestyles are emerging. It’s hard to predict just how much change there will be. We face the threats of new pandemics and the approaching singularity where technology and AI surpass human abilities. To adapt to these changing times, we must start by learning. Adaptation comes next.
