Pursuing self-restoration is a conscious decision and never a one-time thing. Just as cellular healing is an ongoing, almost automatic process, so is self-restoration. The world-renowned Indian philosopher and meditator Jiddu Krishnamurti once said, “People often allocate a specific time of day for meditation, but true meditation continues 24 hours a day.”

Meditating at specific times is better than not meditating at all. However, even better is meditating 24 hours a day, even during sleep. This requires a commitment. Just like living with clear goals and consciousness, doing this daily will gradually heal and restore your body, mind, and emotions. It is one of the secrets to lifelong health.
