Wounds We Truly Need to Heal
When illness strikes
and renders us immobile,
we begin to look around and realize
the most important wounds we need to heal. Wounded relationships,
holes in our faith, tumors of deeply hidden fears,
a waning belief in the Creator, and the cold heart that refuses to forgive—
these are the wounds we truly need to heal.
In various forms, the world speaks to us, telling us what we truly need to examine. Sometimes, these messages come through pain, wounds, and arrows, guiding us to find what truly matters. When we can embrace these truths with our body and soul, healing begins in our hearts.
