A lecture revealing one’s pain

Giving a lecture that reveals my pain
is never an easy task.
However, this pain becomes a source of comfort and
courage for others. The key to touching hearts
is ultimately through empathy. Living a life with pain is
for those who are chosen. Pain is agonizing, but it also
provides the opportunity to overcome it.
Those who have experienced pain become stronger.
Just as it takes time for new skin to form over a wound,
it takes time for pain to fade away.
Enduring the time it takes to become numb
is how one grows stronger through pain.
