What Makes Us Grow

Even if we can’t do what we desire,
understanding that it’s not the only path
given to us is understanding ourselves.
Even if you can’t become an actor,
you can become a director and create a stage.
Even if you’re not a great artist,
you can make a shabby, humble room beautiful.
Thus, we grow not only by winning
but also by losing.

In life, there are many things
we desperately want but cannot achieve.
However, life is peculiar, and often we achieve greater success
because we didn’t achieve what we desired.
There is never just one path.
If one path is blocked,
ten more can open.
We grow when we are blocked by failure or defeat.
