A Wife’s Dream

After more than 30 years together, I realized how inattentive I had been.

One day, I asked my wife, “What is your dream?” She answered, without hesitation, as if the answer had always been ready: “Your dream is my dream.”

It was the most humbling and heartwarming thing anyone had ever said to me.

Marriage is perhaps one of the most challenging yet precious relationships. Despite being physically close, we often overlook the depth of each other’s hearts. True understanding of one another allows their dreams to be shared. A wife’s dream becomes her husband’s, and a husband’s dream becomes his wife’s. Together, their dreams merge into one, carried by the foundation of love.
