The Vatican

The Vatican is often seen as a place brimming with the Holy Spirit, yet it has its share of factions and intrigue. Its bureaucracy can sometimes feel like a long, heavy, and sluggish train. At the helm, the Pope sits in the locomotive. Behind him, the elegant carriages are filled with members of the Vatican, followed by priests, deacons, and over a billion laypeople.

The Vatican, considered the holiest place on Earth, is not exempt from factions, conspiracies, rivalries, and resentment. Even the most harmonious families experience conflicts, bitterness, and disagreements. Wherever people gather, light and shadow coexist. Life is a constant balancing act between the sacred and the secular, with each person ultimately finding their own path within it.
