To Live as a Human
This phrase resonates deeply with me as a guiding principle. Writing, creating, and reading books—these acts embody the very essence of living as a human. Even decades after the 1970s, this remains an unchanging central question in my life as a book creator, and it continues to be the answer I seek.
For every individual, living authentically as a human requires engaging in a variety of pursuits, each unique and personal. None can be deemed the ultimate value above all others. Yet, the creation of books might hold an extraordinary, timeless value. When more people read, the art of bookmaking flourishes.
