Is there anyone truly at peace with aging?
Aging is an inevitable part of life, but accepting it with our hearts is a different matter. Youth can slip away like grains of sand through our fingers, and at times, it brings a strange sense of sadness. However, soon enough, we pull ourselves together. One thing I’ve come to realize as I age is that it’s better to have wrinkles than to lose physical strength. When our energy starts to decline, it shakes our confidence as well. That’s why physical exercise is a hundred times more important than skincare. For me, building strength is not just about staying healthy—it’s about having the confident spirit to overcome the passage of time.

For some time now, I’ve been living without thinking much about my age, but there are moments when I’m taken aback. When I meet people around my age, I suddenly realize, “Oh, I must be getting older too.” I’m sometimes surprised or even saddened by it. I’m still trying to hold on to my youth in various ways, but my confidence and energy are slipping away… Due to the pandemic, I’ve been meeting fewer people and not exercising as much, so my physical strength has really declined. These days, getting back into exercise is crucial for me to regain my confidence and strength.
