Walking through a drizzle, a light rain, and a steady downpour, I began to understand what he meant by sensation. There was no feeling of annoyance as I walked in the rain. Instead, I felt free. The leaves in the forest playfully brushed against me. I could smell the salty scent of the ocean from the woods. The distant church bells softly echoed through the trees, blending seamlessly with the peaceful surroundings.
It feels peaceful. It feels free. It feels happy. All my senses were awakened.
The greatest gift the forest offers is tranquility. Calmness. And naturally, a deep sense of happiness follows. We’re not chasing after it. As we walk slowly, peace, quiet, and happiness gently come to us. And eventually, we begin to hear them—distant church bells, the voices of our buried feelings, the voice of conscience.
peaceful, free, happy
