Finding Myself
I am the person I have known the longest,
the one I understand best—yet also the one I know the least.
Within me lies not only the traits passed down from my ancestors
but also the imprint of every moment I have lived.
The laughter, the tears, the setbacks, the excitement,
the anger, the resolve, the hope, and the despair—
all of these experiences shape who I am.
I am both the most familiar and the most mysterious presence in my life.
That is why I must make the effort to truly understand myself.
In the memories of the past, in the reality of the present,
in my thoughts and emotions—there, hidden within, is my true self.
The journey to find that self is the path of self-reflection.
self, reflection, journey
