It’s said that in Tibetan, the word for “human” can mean “a being who walks” or “a wanderer in motion.”
I often find myself praying—
that I’ll keep moving forward,
that I’ll be someone who never gives up taking the next step,
no matter what life throws my way.
When we walk,
the dust of a heavy heart settles.
A tired body finds deep rest after a long walk.
And when we wake from that rest,
we often discover the strength to begin again.
Trust me—walking is good.
That’s why I hope to always be someone
who never gives up on walking.
walk, strength, begin again
