Speak Directly

Speak Directly

Being direct is about simplicity. Hesitation breeds complexity.

Through my own experience, I came to understand the real Steve Jobs. He spoke his mind plainly and didn’t concern himself with how others might feel about it. Very few people have the will or ability to be that honest, regardless of time or place. It’s not that they lack honesty—it’s that they fear the discomfort honesty can bring.

Steve Jobs’ legendary success was shaped in part by his directness. He expressed his thoughts clearly, boldly, and without filters. That kind of clarity takes courage. Only those who are confident enough to face resistance can speak that way. To get a clear answer, you must communicate with clarity.

Say what you mean. Say it directly.
