Becoming a Perfect Pair
When people fall in love, the most common promises are “I love you” and “I need you.” But some go further and say, “I’ll endure you for life.” That means I’ll put up with your laziness, and you’ll tolerate my nagging and quirks.
But what truly matters is recognizing the pain your partner feels when they’re being patient—and making an effort to change your own flaws. Working together to become a more beautiful, more complete pair—that’s what makes love feel like poetry.
There’s no such thing as a perfect couple. Two imperfect people meet, commit to each other, and choose to endure life together. It’s easy to be patient for a moment. But staying patient for a lifetime takes effort. That’s why we try, every day, to love more deeply, trust more fully, and be more understanding.
To become a perfect pair in an imperfect world—like writing a beautiful poem through pain.
commitment, patience, growth
