Breathless

Breathless
Thoughts and beliefs carry their own breath.
Some thoughts open space and let us breathe,
while others feel suffocating. Words, too,
carry breath that touches every living being—
sustaining life, restoring strength,
and sometimes bringing healing.
When we speak words of creation and beauty,
the world itself breathes again.
Words infused with breath can shape life,
even holding the power to preserve or destroy it.
If breath is blocked, life is in danger.
We must clear the passage to survive.
In everyday life, we often feel breathless—
not because our lungs fail,
but because heavy thoughts or careless words
can choke the spirit.
Yet words also hold the power
to break open what is blocked.
Life-giving words restore faith,
and heal the bonds between people.
