Becoming a Father
Before I knew it,
I had become the father of three.
Now that I’m in a father’s shoes,
I often wonder—am I doing this right?
Am I being the kind of dad my kids deserve?
I want to give them everything
if it means they’ll be happy.
But when I look at myself,
I see how much I still lack.
You don’t realize how much you don’t know
until you become a father.
You’re unprepared, imperfect—
and yet, you have to show up.
One thing I’ve come to understand:
being a good father to my own kids
is just part of the job.
We’re also fathers to the children around us.
Fatherhood isn’t just about your home—
it’s about the world our children grow up in.
father, responsibility, growth
