Food Made by My Own Hands

Food Made by My Own Hands

Why is it so meaningful to cook and eat food I’ve prepared myself?
Of course, it’s about eating something nourishing and clean. But beyond that, the act of cooking plants a mindset of loving daily life and embracing reality. As I wash the ingredients, mix them together, adjust the heat, and wait for the food to be ready, I too am growing and maturing alongside it.

Food and writing share the same spirit.
I grow when I eat food prepared by others, and I grow when I read words written by others. Yet the deeper path of growth lies in my own hands. Through the meals I cook myself, and through the words I write myself, I discover the vast ocean within. In that process, I become more whole, more beautiful, and even find healing.
