War or Peace
I’m eighty-nine years old.
Whenever I look back on my life, one memory always stands out—the countless experiences I had while serving during the Korean War.
It’s been so long since peace became part of our daily lives that many people seem to have forgotten the true fear of war.
I hope with all my heart that my beloved grandchildren, and all future generations, never have to live under the threat of war.
The scars of conflict must end with my generation.
That’s why I continue to pray for peace in Korea.
War and peace are both created by people.
What will we pass down to those who come after us?
War or peace?
The answer is clear.
peace, memory, generations
