The Art of Refining
Rewrite, revise, and then revise again.
Ten times? Maybe twenty?
That’s how a piece of writing gets polished.
And with each pass, it feels a little lighter.
When you know it’ll take real effort,
You stop worrying about perfection.
You just write from the heart.
And so today, I remind myself again:
This is practice. Everything is part of the process.
When you’re starting something new,
When you’re stepping into unfamiliar territory,
It’s easy to feel lost and overwhelmed.
The constant revising can feel exhausting.
But what if we embraced the process just as it is—
Made it our own, called it practice,
And committed to it with intention?
That’s what I’m doing today.
I’m practicing, wholeheartedly.
practice, process, revision
