The Wandering Soul
Some people might envy the life I lead.
But the truth is, it’s a weary journey.
When I’m here, I miss there.
And when I’m there, I find myself reminiscing about here.
I’m a wandering soul, caught between places.
There are moments when I wonder why I ever left.
Regret creeps in.
But sometimes, it feels like this path was never mine to choose—just fate unfolding.
It’s not just immigrants who feel this way.
In many ways, we’re all wanderers.
No matter where we are, loneliness finds us.
Sadness, longing, and pain follow.
We question our choices, wondering if we made the right call.
But within those regrets, there’s also joy, love, and happiness.
Accepting our life and the choices we’ve made—
That’s where peace begins. That’s where destiny lives.
