Raising a Child Like a Diamond

Raising a Child Like a Diamond

Anyone with a bit of common sense can name countries rich in natural resources but struggling economically—Nigeria and Angola with oil, Congo with minerals, Sierra Leone known for diamonds, and Bolivia with silver.
In a way, Korea is fortunate not to have diamond mines or oil fields. That means we’ve been spared the troubles that often come with those resources.
Still, even without diamond mines, we have people who shine like diamonds. And we have many who are ready to help them grow.
If we discover a child’s natural talent early and nurture it to its fullest, the child thrives—and so does the nation. People are our greatest asset. Helping children grow into their full potential is a calling for every adult.
