Time Goes On

Time Goes On

If time wants to leave, let it go—I’ll keep walking my own path.
There are days when I blame the passing years. Lately, those days come more often.
I tell myself it’s just age, but sometimes it feels like an excuse for my own laziness.
Each time that thought crosses my mind, a faint bitterness lingers.
But sitting around blaming time doesn’t help—time moves too quickly.
So instead of worrying, tonight I’ll simply rest well, and tomorrow will take care of itself.
Yes, I agree—time really does fly.
But we can’t hold it responsible. That’s why each day matters.
And the best way to live a good day, paradoxically, is to sleep well.
Deep, peaceful sleep is the surest path to living fully.
So tonight, may you rest easy.
