Why I Chose Law School Over Music
The dream of becoming a violinist had already faded.
That dreaded college entrance exam changed everything.
I scored far better than expected—so well, in fact, that I ended up in law school instead of music school.
It was my father’s lifelong wish.
Still, I spent all four years with my violin by my side.
I wasn’t truly a law student, nor a musician.
I graduated somewhere in between, unsure of who I was.
And somehow, I drifted my way to where I am today.
We often choose colleges, careers, and life paths based on test scores.
But that doesn’t lead to happiness.
Instead of chasing numbers, we need to discover our true talents.
From those talents, we can find the path to our dreams.
And within that path lies a fulfilling life.
