Final Moments, Last Memories
When my time comes, I doubt the image that surfaces will be the applause I received after a big presentation.
More likely, it will be a ray of sunlight.
A single leaf swaying in the breeze.
Or the quiet glow of moonlight.
What will I remember when I die?
It’s a question that’s unsettling, but worth asking at least once.
Rather than regrets or missed chances,
I hope to recall the most beautiful moments—
the people I loved, the peace I felt.
To make that final memory a beautiful one,
I will cherish today more deeply.
I will savor it with my whole heart.
