When Children Smile, the World Feels Joy

“When I first stepped into the role of superintendent, I didn’t feel entirely at ease. Then one morning, as I walked into the office, I noticed a phrase posted at the entrance: When children smile, the world is happy. That simple message gave me clarity. If we can make children truly happy, teachers will naturally carry brighter expressions, schools will feel lighter, and I too will share in that happiness. My heart felt relieved from that moment on.

The answer isn’t far away—it’s written on the faces of children. When children smile, schools smile, teachers smile, and the world smiles. A school that brings joy to its students is what real education looks like. And if we take it further, we might say: When people smile, the nation is happy.
