Do You Like Salad

Do you enjoy salad?
It’s been trending lately, but people have loved it for centuries.
Ancient Romans were big fans, and so were the Babylonians of Persia.
The word “salad” comes from the Latin “salata,” meaning salted—
because they used salty dressings made with oil, vinegar, or brine.

There’s even a phrase, “salad days,”
which refers to youth and inexperience.
Salad has come to symbolize freshness and bold beginnings.

I love salad too.
I’ve searched far and wide for the perfect one.
Chopping crisp, colorful greens and arranging them on a beautiful plate,
then drizzling on a rich dressing—
each bite makes me feel healthier, even happier.
And knowing it represents youthful energy,
it almost feels like I’m growing younger with every bite.
