Why We Climb Mountains
When I go too long without visiting the mountains, I start to wonder—am I losing touch with myself, becoming too caught up in the noise of the world? That’s why, the busier life gets, the more I try to return to the mountains. If I could fulfill one wish during my time in ministry, it would be to spend a month living simply in a deep mountain valley, just me and nature. Today again, I climb the mountain, the original shape of my soul. As I ascend, I cleanse my spirit and search for the path I’ve lost, far from the city’s distractions.
Why do people climb mountains?
Some do it simply because they love the mountains. Others go for their health, to reconnect with nature, or to seek spiritual clarity through meditation and prayer. But one thing they all share is this: the mountain purifies both body and mind, and clears the soul. It brings fresh energy and inspiration. It helps us find new direction, and makes our hearts feel alive again.
