Is Honesty a Loss

Is Honesty a Loss

Honesty isn’t just about not deceiving others.

True honesty means doing what’s right for someone else—even when you know something they don’t.

So why is it hard to be honest? Because we fear it will cost us. And yes, in the short term, it often does.

There’s no way to do business honestly without taking a hit now and then.

But in the long run, honesty is never a loss.

Being honest might make you look naïve. You might be called foolish.

Still, we must choose honesty. We must teach it.

Not just because it pays off eventually, but because it’s the final safeguard of trust in human society.

If that collapses, everything else falls with it.

Without honesty, we’re left with a world ruled by brute force.
