Notes Become Wisdom Over Time
When I first started working as an assistant, I carefully wrote down every instruction from the executive—who was then a senior manager—as if I were transcribing word for word. I tried my best not to miss even the smallest detail. While speed mattered, I knew that accuracy was even more important. Still, no matter how precise I tried to be, it was hard to capture everything perfectly. Even after reviewing my notes several times, I often found that something was out of order or a key point had slipped through. Yet those notes helped expand my understanding and brought back memories of past experiences. A single line of memo, when accumulated, becomes personal insight—and eventually, a book of wisdom.
