“Living Well in Every Moment”

We must live well in every moment.

Diogenes expressed a similar sentiment. When someone asked him, “Now that you are older, don’t you think you should rest?” he responded, “If I were running a race and nearing the finish line, should I stop running?”

Yes, indeed.

We must live well in every moment. When we are young, we should live well because we are young, and as we grow older, we should live even better. It is only when we can say to ourselves that we ran hard and did our best up until we reach the finish line of our race, can we truly say that we lived well.
