Good Reading Habits

Good Reading Habits *Whether it’s a poetry collection, novel, grammar book, or philosophy book, if I come across a moving passage, I always underline it with a ruler. If a passage teaches me something new, I underline it with a blue pen. If it’s a passage I need to read and ponder again, I use a red pen. For passages I already know but need to revisit, I use a black pen.

Eating habits can make a huge difference even with the same food. Similarly, good reading habits are essential. Just as incorrect walking habits can harm the body despite being beneficial, reading too requires good habits. Speed reading, deep reading, and extensive reading habits, along with long-term note-taking, have made my morning letters possible. The sooner you develop good reading habits, the better.
