If Life Were an Olympics

If our lives were an Olympics, everything you’re going through now is training. For everyone, training is truly tough and grueling. But athletes don’t quit just because training is hard. They grit their teeth and endure. Of course, I’m not telling you to endure unconditionally. How about not trying to do that tough training alone, but with a coach, with rivals, and with teammates?

Yes, indeed.

Once, while working on something, my daughter came to me and said, “Dad, I’ll help you.” I thought it might be too difficult for my 6-year-old, but she said, “Dad, we can do it together, why are you trying to do it alone?” Her small helping hands, and that heart, were so precious to me. Looking back, having family together, working with colleagues, and giving and receiving help from each other are great strengths and happiness in life.
