Just a Little More

It’s late, I should sleep now

But the book I borrowed from the library is so good that I can’t sleep.

Just a little more, really, just a little more

Yes, indeed.

Yoon Min-geun, a middle school student who participated in the Lincoln School program three times, wrote this poem. Reading books has its own flavor. Some books are too precious to finish quickly, so you savor them little by little. You read each sentence deeply. Time feels too precious to waste. You should sleep, but you can’t put the book down. Discovering this joy early in life means you won’t be lonely, as you’ll always have the companion of a good book.
