When I was young, my mother used to tell me: “Everyone knows whether an anchovy is bigger or a hairtail. Everyone can distinguish that. If what you’re doing is true, people will believe you. So, don’t be swayed by unnecessary talk and don’t worry about it.”
I also have words that stay with me for life. They are the words my mother told me when I was young. During my college years, when I was expelled under Emergency Measure No. 9 and my youth seemed to end, my mother said, “My son, you are amazing. God is using you in a different way.” These words made me who I am today.
