That night, Norden and Chiku could not sleep.

Norden often said that when fear of nightmares
kept him awake, the night felt endlessly long.
And so, for them, those long nights continued.

When sleep won’t come,
the hours spent tossing under the blanket
stretch endlessly.
And if a nightmare follows the brief sleep,
the night becomes truly painful.
Long nights move slowly,
and the body feels unbearably heavy.
